Youth trade unions forum TEMP 2018 scheduled for 26-30 June

MINSK(BelTA) – The international youth trade unions forum TEMP 2018 will take place on 26-30 June, BelTA learned from the press service of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus.

Taking part in the forum will be 200 trade unions activists from 20 countries. Applications were received from Georgia, Egypt, Iran, Latvia, Moldova, Russia and other states.

The forum will open with a discussion. It will be attended by top officials of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus and government officials, public figures and business people. Young people will be introduced to Belarusian trade unions, employment and labor laws and social partnership programs.

The participants of the forum will be offered an extensive and exciting educational program that will include training sessions, master classes, roundtable sessions and meetings with well-known political and cultural figures of Belarus. In the focus will be implementation of the youth policy, on-the-job support for young people, promotion of digital economy and creation of new eco-friendly jobs.

This year the forum will offer the so-called “regional program”. The forum participants will tour Belarusian industry giants in all the regions of the country. Among them are BelGee, Ivatsevichdrev, and Belshina. The trade unions activists will study labor conditions, perks and benefits for young professionals, apprenticeship programs and advanced training and retraining courses.

The forum will be held for the fourth time. Over this period it has been attended by over 600 people from 21 countries.
